Workshop Agents of Change: Skills & Strategies for RDM Professionals

RDM professionals, such as data stewards, research data managers and data curators, play a key role in realizing the goals of FAIR data and Open Science – and are thereby Agents of Change.

Agents of Change: Skills & Strategies for RDM Professionals

This workshop will be offered twice within 2024 to help RDM professionals to

  • define their own role & scope of work at their institutions or in their projects
  • develop strategies to shape a FAIR data culture in science as change agents
  • to network and grow in their role

In addition to existing programs such as Train the Trainer or technical training courses, this workshop fills a thematic gap with topics perceived as highly relevant by the data stewards and other RDM professionals surveyed in preparation of this course. This relevance is also reflected in current European initiatives (e.g. Minimal Viable Skillset for Data Stewards).
