Task Force International Affairs
RatSWD Task Force in the 8th appointment period (2023-2026)
Keeping an eye on the international level is an important cross-cutting task. The formation, development and expansion of European research data infrastructures and European legislation in the field of data policy are crucial for the scientific community in Germany. Furthermore, the identification of best practices from countries within and outside the European Union offers many opportunities for the further development of research data infrastructures in Germany. The Task Force International Affairs of the German Data Forum (RatSWD) monitors European data legislation and sets it in the German context. At the same time, it aims to strengthen international networks and to pursue the demands of the German Data Forum at European and international level.
