Open APIs for standardised data access

Standardising interfaces simplifies access to data within the KonsortSWD infrastructure. Supported by digital tools, researchers receive targeted meta and content data. By standardising these tools for all partners, they ensure greater reach and re-usability. Furthermore, they enable third parties to use the troves of data collected in the research data centres, or to provide new data directly to them. This promotes the FAIR-principles and reduces obstacles to data provision.

This work package will define and maintain a standard, which will be made available to users via tooling. Participants can test their implementations using a demo workflow and then use the services of individual partners. Instead of each RDC creating an individual solution, standardising queries and outputs creates an added value for researchers.
