The events of the German Statistical Society focus on its annual conference. It is part of the annual Statistical Week held at the end of September together with the Association of German Urban Statisticians. The annual conference consists of about three main topics as well as a large number of other lecture events and committee meetings. It includes the Gumbel Lecture, the Heinz Grohmann Lecture and the Young Statisticians Mini-Symposium. The approximately 500 participants of the Statistical Week come from all areas of statistics.
