A new textbook integrates the search portal of QualidataNet

The QualidataNet search portal has been incorporated into a new textbook on teaching qualitative data as part of an exercise that uses the QualidataNet search portal as a central component—thus putting the collaboration between teaching and research data infrastructure into practice.

In the exercise, students learn key aspects of the secondary use of qualitative data using the QualidataNet search portal. QualidataNet is a service provided as part of the German National Research Data Infrastructure (NFDI) and is a part of the Consortium for the Social, Behavioural, Educational, and Economic Sciences (KonsortSWD).

The topic of data reuse has received little attention in the teaching of qualitative methods to date, and we are pleased that our partners at KonsortSWD and the NFDI are now taking on a pioneering role with QualidataNet.
