DDI Recognized as an ISO Standard
We are pleased to announce that the International Organization for Standardization (ISO) has certified the Data Documentation Initiative (DDI) metadata standard.
This certification marks a milestone in ensuring reliable, sustainable, and interoperable data. It also recognizes the long-standing commitment of the RDM community and our partner GESIS within the DDI Alliance.
With ISO certification, datasets achieve a high degree of technical uniformity. This ensures the findability, citability, and ease of interpretation of the datasets. It also enhances the interoperability and machine readability of the data.
We thank the community for its commitment to a sustainable data infrastructure!
