Online workshop series “FID Media Bites” starts
The FID Media is launching a new series of events for researchers in communication and media studies.
The “FID Media Bites” offer practical knowledge bites for communication and media science. Each event focuses on a topic from the areas of academic publishing, research, open science and research data, always with a focus on the subject-specific framework conditions.
The “FID Media Bites” usually take place via Zoom on the first Friday of every month from 11 a.m. to 12 p.m. during the lecture period. In the first part of the event there will be a thematic input and in the second part there will be space for discussion and questions.
In the summer semester, the FID Media Bites will focus on scholar-led publishing, AI and copyright as well as tools for open access. Three workshops per semester will also be offered in the future. The content is based on topics requested by the researchers.
The “FID Media Bites” are aimed at researchers at all career levels, employees from infrastructure facilities in the relevant subject areas, students and interested parties. The workshops are organised and moderated by the FID Media coordination team.
The “FID Media Bites” take place in this Zoom room. No registration is necessary.
