Report on the 75th Meeting of the German Data Forum

The agenda for the meeting included, among other issues, the latest developments regarding the Research Data Act (for more information, click here), access to research data from online platforms and services pursuant to Article 40 of the Digital Services Act, as well as systematic problems and quality deficiencies in Hungarian EU-SILC income data uncovered by Hungarian researchers. During the meeting, there was also an exchange with the Data & Digital Science Community. The Community emphasizes the importance of data and digital science in a position paper, calling for a long-term strengthening of the exchange of methodological expertise and the development of competencies, particularly in the social sciences.
