Information event Sharing data securely – map of possibilities
The sharing of data has become increasingly important in recent years – be it due to the E-Government Act (EGovG), the federal government’s data strategy or our own considerations to make previously inaccessible data usable for research.
Representatives from KonsortSWD, the Federal Office of Administration’s Open Data Competence Center, the office of the German Council for Social and Economic Data and the RKI will address this topic at the information event “Sharing data securely – a map of possibilities”. The presentations will shed light on the framework conditions and present the possibilities of data sharing – from the establishment of a research data center (RDC) to publication via open data repositories.
The event is primarily aimed at employees of public authorities and organizations that hold data and are looking for ways to share it for research and/or the public.
